Welcome to our Adoptable Pets Page.

Below you will see a variety of wonderful furry friends in all shapes, sizes and breeds. Each one of these fur-babies
are being fostered in very loving homes with a foster mom and family.

If you see a pet you are interested in making a part of your home fur-ever, please fill in the
adoption form and
forward it to us indicating the name of the dog. We will follow up promptly.  Please be aware we only accept email
inquiries and must ask that you allow 24 to 48 hours for a response.
No phone calls please. Each of our foster
homes is completely on a volunteer basis and have a huge responsibility to the dogs that are placed in their care
as well as their own families. Therefore, they can not always accept phone calls during the day.
Thank you for your understanding with this particular matter.

Before we place any dog on this list they are observed carefully for behavior and are vetted. We do not cage our
dogs, our volunteer foster parents care for them until we find a suitable home for each.

Don't forget you can also become a sponsor to one or more of the dogs you see on this page by
clicking here.

Below is a slide show of each of the dogs we have in foster care now. Just beyond that you will find a small bio on
each fur-baby with contact information just in case you have additional questions or wish to fill out an application.

Remember to
check this page often as we have many others being fostered now and will be posted  SOON.

"Hello, my name is Jose!"

"I'm a 6 year old Chihuahua who weighs 8.5 pounds.  I was rescued by
Papillon Pals from a kill shelter but no one is really sure why I was given up
or even put there..

I am housebroken and crate trained, I',m up to date on vaccines, tested
heart-worm & parasite negative, I've even been neutered and
micro-chipped.  My vet says I have a slight heart murmur (3 on a scale of
6) but it does not require medications or slow me down one bit.

My foster mom says I'm just a cuddly, happy boy who needs nothing more
than someone to love me forever.

If you think you might be that person for me, please email my "foster mom"
to ask questions and she'll get back with you ASAP".

Thank you for caring and listening,

A Special Note to our potential "Fur-Ever" Parents...

Though we take every effort to update our web-site as soon as there is new development with our foster babies, whether it be
an update from our foster mom's and dad's, A new adoption or A new arrival into our rescue,
it is asked that you please understand, we may be delayed somewhat in posting such important information.

Some of the dogs showing on our site as available for adoption may have been adopted prior to our site being updated.
therefore, It is requested that you click the link located under each dog to "Email us with a question"
asking if the dog you are interested in is still available.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
but, we must advise that the welfare of our fur-babies has and always will come first.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
"Hello, my name is Cody!  I'm a Male, Long-haired Chihuahua who is
about 8 years old & weigh around 5 pounds.

I was left, anonymously, in the outdoor pen at Animal Control a while back
but now I'm living with a really great lady from Papillon Pals Rescue.  She's
promised to find me the perfect forever home.

My foster Mom thinks I'd be great for a retired person because I don't
require a lot of exercise am quite calm & content to spend my days
cuddling in the lap of my human.

I am great with men, women & children of all ages. I'm fine with other dogs
and although I've never met a cat, I think I'd like them too.  I am working on
potty training but need a good schedule to avoid an accident.
I don't lick or jump on people & am very quiet, even when I eat. You see, I
never got to go for dental checks before, so I don't have my teeth
anymore.  I LOVE to eat, it just has to be soft food these days.

I am up to date on all of my shots I've tested heart-worm negative, I have a
microchip & I'm even neutered.  I take a monthly heart-worm & flea/tick
preventative too.

If you want to ask any questions or file an adoption application please
email my foster mom she'll get back with you lickity split. Thanks for
listening "

Peanut is being fostered in:
Tallahassee, Florida
"Hello, my name is Peanut!  I am a 4 year old, Male, Papi-mix who weighs in at 9 Lbs.

My foster Mom says I am a brilliant boy who learns very quickly, so training should be a breeze.  I am
crate trained but could use some practice to become 100% housebroken.

My favorite things to do are ride in the car, take walks on-leash, and run free in a fully fenced yard.  My
foster mommy knows that energetic dogs need lots of exercise or they get board and that's when 'issues'
can arise.

I like children from a distance but am too small & energetic to live with them.  I'd be much better with an all
adult family.

Foster Mommy took me to the vet and updated all of my vaccines and had me tested for heart-worms
(results: negative). I've also been neutered (that was an ouchy!) and I was micro-chipped too.
If you are looking for an adorable, spunky little dog with personality,
I'm your boy!!  If you'd like an adoption application or more information, please email my foster mom.

Thank you for considering giving me a second chance at happiness"

Webster is being fostered in
Birmingham, AL
"Hello, my name is Webster! I'm an 18 month old, Male, Papillon mix
who weighs 19 lbs of pure muscle.

Animal Control found me  wandering around in a cemetery and brought
me to their shelter in Georgia.  Not too long after that, I heard someone
say the shelter was full to capacity and they needed to 'make room' for
another dog.  Luckily, someone from Papillon Pals found out about the
situation and rescued me.

Papillon Pals transported me from Georgia to Alabama and that's where
I'm living now with my sweet foster mom. She has promised to find me a
wonderful forever home where I can share all the love I have to give.

My perfect forever home would have a securely fenced yard for a puppy
like me to run & play.  I like having other dogs to play with, so that would
be nice but it isn't required.  I can live in a house with cats but I don't
have any interest in playing with them.  I do like to play with humans of
all shapes and sizes though.

I have been to the vet and I'm neutered, up to date on all of my shots,
I've tested heart-worm and parasite negative and I've also been
micro-chipped.

My Foster Mom wants you to know that I am crate trained but still need
more practice to be considered fully housebroken.

If you think we might make a love connection, please contact my foster
mommy with questions or fill out an adoption application. She'll respond
within 24 hours to your inquiries.

Well thanks for listening.

Pepe is being fostered in
Tallahassee, Florida
"Hi, my name is Pepe!

I am a pure Chihuahua who is 2-3 years old & weigh 5.2 pounds.
My foster mom says I'm an excellent specimen of the breed, as good
as any she's seen in the show ring!

The vet found me to be very healthy.  I am up to date on my
vaccines, I've tested heart-worm & parasite negative, I've been
neutered and micro-chipped.

My foster mom also says I am friendly, outgoing and VERY loving.  I
want to be in my person's arms, lap or snuggled beside them all the
times.  I'm attentive to my human & respond well when spoken to.

I would like to live in a mature household, or with a single person, as
an only dog, where I can receive the attention I deserve.

If you fit the description & are a sincere person who is willing to
spend the rest of your life adoring me, please email my foster mom
for more information. See you soon."

Sincerely,
Pepe, Tallahassee
Hello there, my name is Rocky but most just call me Rocky-Racoon!
I'm a long-haired Chihuahua who weighs 7 pounds & is about 8 years old.
(That's mid-life for Chi's like me).

I was found by Animal Control wandering around on the side of the road.
They brought me to the shelter but nobody wanted me until...a very nice
lady from Papillon Pals Rescue saw me and knew I was much too cute
and friendly to leave behind.

I went to the vet where I was brought up to date on all shots including
Bordetella & Rabies, I've tested heart-worm & parasite negative, I was
neutered and micro-chipped too.  Doc said I'm the picture of health
considering the life I left behind.

My foster mommy thinks I was probably a puppy mill stud kept in a cage
my entire life.  I never learned how to walk properly on a leash but now
I'm getting the hang of it.  I also never learned to potty outside. I've been
working on that for a while and do my business outside most of the time
my foster mom finds it best to keep me in a belly-band while in the house
to keep me from marking my territory (we males like to do that
sometimes).  The band has a disposable pad inside that keeps me from
"marking" in the house.  Foster Mommy thinks this is a tough habit to
break while living in a home full of foster dogs!  There is a chance this
habit will be broken if I'm the only pup in the family.

If I could choose my forever home it would definitely be one where I had a
stay-at-home person keeping me company all day!  It would also be
grand if I could be the only animal in the house.  Then, the icing on the
cake would be having a fenced in yard for me to run "zoomies" around.
It's almost to much to hope for!

Please give me chance to fulfill my dream of being part of a wonderful
family.  I'd be the perfect companion for someone living alone who wants
the company of a very loving, sweet and devoted little dog.  I'm not yappy
like most Chihuahua's and promise to give you my unconditional love
forever.

With Sincerest Hope,
Rocky in Jacksonville, FL
Brandi is being fostered in
Jacksonville Florida
"Hi, my name is Brandi and I'm a 1-1/2 year old, Papillon who weighs 8
pounds.

My former owner loved me very much but when she became ill, she could
no longer take care of me.  She wanted to find a place that was familiar
with my breed so she chose Papillon Pals Rescue to find me a new forever
home.

I am a very healthy little girl who is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, I've
tested heart-worm & parasite negative and I'm micro-chipped as well.

My foster mommy says I am the sweetest little dog!  I sleep all night in my
crate without a peep, never met a person I didn't like and am good with
older children & other small dogs.  In fact, I think it would be fantastic if I
could find a home with a small canine companion.

I'm still young, so it's important that I find a home with a securely fenced
yard.  The yard will keep me safe and give me lots of room to exercise &
play.  My foster mommy says I'm so light on my feet that I would probably
be a great candidate for agility or fly-ball training.

I walk well on a leash, love to ride in the car and am working on my potty
skills every day.  I also love to give kisses to anyone who will let me!

If you think you'd like to be my new forever family, please email my foster
mommy for more information hope to see you soon".

Etta is being fostered in
Tallahassee Florida
"Hi, my name is Etta!

I'm a Parson Terrier who is approximately 1-1/2 years old & weigh about
10 pounds.

I am a healthy girl who is up to date with vaccines, spayed, tested
heart-worm & parasite negative and I'm micro-chipped as well.

My foster mom says I need a "dog savvy" owner who will understand and
work with my quirks.  I am a one person dog who is truly devoted to my
human but tend not to trust others. I get along with other small dogs but
prefer my chosen human.  It is important that my forever home have a
securely fenced yard so I have a peaceful haven to exercise and play.

If you think you fit the description I've given above and are looking for a
small, loyal companion to fill your days, then please email my foster mom
for more information, and she'll get back with you ASAP. Thanks and I'll
see you later ".

Sincerely,
Little Miss Etta, Tallahassee
Yvette is being fostered in
Atlanta, Georgia
"Hi, my name is Yvette!  I am an apricot colored, Toy Poodle who is 7 years young and weigh 9 pounds.

My elderly owner surrendered me because she was no longer able to take care of me.  Now I have a
wonderful foster mom from Papillon Pals Rescue who  promised to find me the perfect forever home.

I've been to the vet & am up to date with my vaccines, I've tested heart-worm & parasite negative, I am
spayed &  micro-chipped.  I must tell you, I do have some spinal nerve damage, which causes my front legs
to go stiff now & then.  It doesn't hurt and I don't let it stop me from playing with the other dogs or having fun.
I just walk it off slowly until they limber up again.  It would be best for me to be in a  home which is mostly
carpeted since slick floors make walking more difficult.  I also have a slight murmur & some allergies but
they're easily controlled by feeding limited ingredient foods.

I am a sweet little girl who needs a home without any small children.  I like them, but it would be too
dangerous to have a small child fall on me.

I love playing with other small dogs, going for walks, riding in the car & especially snuggling in the lap of my
human!

If you have a big heart & are looking for a loving companion to share your life, please send an email to my
foster mom and she'll get back with you ASAP. Thanks for listening."

Forever Grateful,
Yvette in Atlanta
Hershey is being fostered in
Jacksonville Florida
"Hi, my name is Hershey!

I'm a Chihuahua mix who is 5-7 years old, which is about middle aged for
my breed.  I weigh 13.5 lbs which is a little heavy but I'm on a diet and
should be back on track soon.

I was returned to the shelter when the family found out I had a heart
murmur.  I take medicine daily but my foster mom gets it from the
Wal-mart people pharmacy, so it's doesn't cost much at all.  I take a pill
for heart & skin health too but all the dogs take that here because many
rescued dogs have skin issues & who can't use a healthier heart, right?!
My knees bother me a bit so mom also shares her glucosamine with me.  I
know it sounds like a lot but I get it all with my dinner and it's not a big
deal.

I need to find a very special person who is willing to love me despite
the fact that I'm not perfect
.  Even though I have a few health issues, I
still love to go for walks & play in the fenced yard with humans & other
dogs. My favorite game is tug-o-war and I also love to go for car rides &
see the sights!

My Foster mom says I need a sort of quiet forever home with no children.
I like to sit & snuggle with my people on the couch and watch TV at night.
I really enjoy my new soft doggie bed but I'd sleep with you in your bed if
you let me.

I am up to date on all shots, including Bordetella & Rabies.  I've tested
heart-worm & parasite negative,  I'm neutered as well as micro-chipped,
so in case I ever get lost I can be found again "THAT'S COOL".  I am fully
house-trained and know how to use a doggie door.  I don't like being
crated but my foster mommy says there's no need anyway because I'm
such a sweet & gentle little boy.

If you've been craving a sweet little Hershey kiss in your home, I'm ready
to give you all the love and affection in my heart.  Please email my foster
mommy to ask questions, she'll answer you back within 24 hours.
Well thanks for listening.

Beasley is being fostered in
Jacksonville Florida
                                         WHAT A CUTIE!!!!
"Hello, My name is Beasley!  I'm a 6 year old, Papillon who weighs
8.5 pounds.

My Foster Mom says I'm a gorgeous boy who is both house and doggy
door trained, very smart, playful and not a barker...but I do "talk" to my
toys.  I'm good with older children and dogs although, I prefer human
companionship to the canine kind.

Some of my likes are: Playing in the securely fenced yard (required),
sleeping in bed with my humans, going for walks and taking car rides.

I am:  Up to date on shots incl. Rabies and Bordetella,  tested
Heart-Worm and Parasite negative, been neutered, micro-chipped and I
even take heart-worm and flea/tick preventative meds to keep me healthy.

It would be wonderful if I could find an active person would will give me lots
of attention & exercise!  Partner that with my being the only dog in the
house and I'll be in doggy nirvana!

My foster mom says I bond easily with new people, wagging my entire
booty to show my approval.  I like my foster family but what I really need to
become complete is to find a family of my very own.

If you think you can provide me with the life I've been searching for, I'll
spend the rest of mine showing you how grateful I am!

Please email my foster mom by clicking the link below and she'll respond
within 24 hours to answer if you have any further questions about me.
Well, that's about it. Thanks for listening.

With Sincere Hope,
Beasley in Jacksonville
